I have always fantasized about opening a store that crossed a photography gallery with a bakery. Mind you, I have no intention of selling baked goods. Rather, what passersby would see in the windows every morning would be prints from the previous day's work - my visual musings - hanging up to dry. This website offers me the storefront window, minus the aroma of photographic chemicals.
I tend to think in terms of narrative. My photographs are stronger when allowed to talk to one another rather than hanging in isolation; they emphasize the symphony over the soloist. Therefore, the galleries portion of the website is devoted to thematic statements rather than individual images. It includes NY me , an ongoing essay about sharing New York City with 8 million others. Exhibits collects work from past and ongoing projects that are not necessarily based in New York City. You may also visit the portfolios section of the website to see selections from my professional assignments.
Unless otherwise noted each image in the galleries is available to be purchased as an archival, hand-printed, black and white photograph. I would love to read your thoughts about my work, either in the guestbook or an email to . To learn more about my photographic experience, read my resume.
Thank you for your time.
