		<description>Thanks for the comment. Yeah, this arts community has a rich history that has led us to where we are. Many groups have played a role beyond what I mentioned: Artists Unite, Union of Dominican Artists, Association of Dominican Artists, Culturarte, Washington Heights Community Arts Project. And those are just the ones in my recent memory. Would love it if someone went back and documented this history.</description>

		<description>Mike, I loved this post. It was engaging and also made some strong points about the current movement. I never knew about Arts Interaction. It would be great to incorporate more education about the history of upper Manhattan and our changing community into the arts programming being created. I hope our current movement remains strong and does not become a fleeting memory lost by future generations.</description>
